Veteran Benefits Guide (VBG) was founded by former United States Marine, Joshua Smith. Josh was employed by the Veteran Benefits Administration (VA) as a Rating Veteran Service Representative. While working in this capacity, Josh was thoroughly trained in the VA’s Disability Compensation System. Recognizing the need to provide Veterans a better option for processing their VA disability claims, Josh set out to create a means to expedite them through the VA claim process while also obtaining the benefits Veterans deserve. Years later, VBG has successfully guided over 10,000 Veterans with submitting their VA disability claims, resulting in substantially increased compensation benefits for their disabilities that are related to active-duty service.
Requirements: What we’re looking for:
Veteran Benefits Guide Accounts Receivable Specialist oversees account receivable functions, as well as collection activity. The Account Receivable Specialist will ensure all payments are accurately posted to invoices when received, and collection activity is compliant and aligned with company goals. This position addresses tight deadlines, for invoicing, processing payments, and account collection activity.

• Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.
• Prepares and records revenue entries by compiling and analyzing account information. Posts payments to all client accounts.
• Ensures accurate and timely recurring payments, both electronic and all physical checks received.
• Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies in applicable Accounting Software to include all AR ledgers.

Where we’re located:
