RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Cash deposit and receipt application.
· Customer invoicing (manual and EDI).
· Application of credit memos to appropriate invoices.
· Receive incoming container shipments for invoicing.
· Research/application of unapplied payments.
· Provide proof of delivery, as required.
· Communicate with customers on outstanding accounts.
· Research shipping/pricing discrepancies, and adjust customer accounts, as applicable.
· Research payment deductions and adjust customer accounts, as applicable.
· Communicate with customers and inside/outside sales representatives.
· Daily review of customer accounts on hold, and resolution of underlying issues.
· Process credit card payments
· Apply payments from website and 3rd party on line sales.
· Reconcile customer accounts/provide statements, as required.
· File sales invoices and cash receipt documentation.
· Provide back-up for incoming phone calls and customer inquiries, as required.
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· Minimum 2 years’ experience in automated accounts receivable or related accounting role/experience.
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· Strong oral and written communication skills.
· Attention to detail.
· Ability to analyze and improve processes.
· Strong mathematical skills.
· Strong Excel/e-mail communication skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
