Your Purpose as an Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager:

  • Ability to build and coach a team of 3-5 payables clerks.
  • Build and maintain an understanding of AP software systems (Yooz, NVoicePay, AP Assist)
  • Standardize procedures to generate efficiency and create internal templates to be used by the company.
  • Processes payments for vendor invoices.
  • Distribute 1099’s at the end of the year.
  • Assist with the preparation of sales and use tax returns.
  • Reconcile outstanding payables to monthly vendor statements.
  • Performs miscellaneous and other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Key Mindsets and Skillsets:

  • 3-5 years of related experience, and/or equivalent education, specialized training, or certification
  • Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year-for-year basis.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
  • Must have a high level of attention to accuracy and detail.
  • A team-first perspective and a win-together attitude.
  • Ability to train, coach and mentor less experienced staff.
  • Must be able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Dedicated to creating meaningful outcomes in everything you do.
