We are actively searching for a dedicated and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to help keep our accounts payable department running smoothly. The ideal candidate for this position has a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, and has experience balancing accounts, reconciling payments and maintaining accurate records. This is an entry-level position that provides an opportunity for promotion within the company, so we're looking for candidates who are committed to understanding the company's values, processes and solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Sort checks and other documents by vendor, invoice number, client, check number and amount.
- Match invoices or other documents to checks.
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies.
- Research vendor information and corrections.
- Process payments for vendors from different clients.
- Maintain daily account payable balances.
- Maintain accounts payable systems.,.
