High Country Search Group is seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to join our client's team. Our client is a reputable company looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual to ensure that all invoices are processed accurately and in a timely manner. The successful candidate will work closely with the accounting team to contribute to the overall success of the organization. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional looking to advance their career in accounts payable. This opportunity will also be on a 9/80 work schedule which means you get every other Friday off!

Job Description for the AP Specialist:

• Process invoices and prepare payments in a timely and accurate manner
• Match purchase orders with invoices to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Reconcile vendor statements and investigate and resolve discrepancies
• Communicate effectively with vendors to resolve any issues or concerns
• Maintain accurate and complete accounts payable records
• Assist with month-end closing activities and provide support for audits
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Associate's degree in accounting or related field preferred
