Our Client, a 3D printing software company that is revolutionizing the auto industry through 3D printing and eliminating tooling is currently seeking an Accounting Manager ideally from a Manufacturing environment with Big 4 experience. This is a role that will be based out of the Greater Los Angeles Area.

Essential Job Functions and Performance Standards:
  • Developing and implementing divisional accounting procedures, ensuring compliance and internal controls with company policies
  • Financial reporting, performance analysis, budget/forecast development, regular monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
  • Assist in scaling the accounting operations to meet the growing financial and accounting needs of the company
  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close financial reporting processes for Czinger Vehicles, reporting up to the parent company Controller
  • Analyzes the operating performance by preparing financial plans, monitoring expenditures and performance against plan, performing analysis of variances, and helping establish action plans to meet financial performance objectives
  • Proactively identifies and drives process improvement initiatives to increase the efficiency of accounting functions
  • Performs project-level reconciliations to evaluate progress to complete versus cash position
  • Prepares and reconciles intercompany transactions in accordance with intercompany agreements
  • Implements the most appropriate financial and accounting practices per US GAAP
  • Primarily responsible for annual financial audit and the subsidiary level
  • Works closely with outside auditors to provide necessary financial information to complete audits on a timely basis
  • Supports federal and state tax filings and other financial compliance
  • Implements key internal controls in accordance with company policies
  • Interacts cross-functionally with supply chain, operations, and engineering departments to proactively resolve any accounting or finance issues
  • Long term, building a team of 1-2 direct report
Experience/Skills:
  • 5-7 + years of accounting experience and a solid grasp of manufacturing accounting are required
  • 3+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred
  • 5+ years of ERP experience required, including experience with Oracle, Oracle Fusion, or a similar ERP system
  • Prior supervisory or management experience is required
  • Big 4 accounting firm experience is a plus.
