Originally built for the 1962 World's Fair, The Edgewater Hotel has marked its place in history as the host to many famous names in the music scene from The Beatles to Blondie. Embraced by Elliott Bay, The Edgewater stands watch over the Olympic Mountains and Seattle skyline. Practically floating on water, the hotel boasts an authentic Pacific Northwest experience including aluminum exteriors, natural wood interiors and river-rock fireplaces. This classic landmark is defined through its culture and distinctive atmosphere.
The Edgewater Hotel is currently seeking a talented, service oriented individual to join us as an Accounts Payable Clerk!
The primary objective of the Accounting Clerk position is to perform a variety of accounting duties including backing up other members of the accounting department. Basic accounting principle knowledge desirable. Duties will include:
- Gathering back up accounting documentation
- Filing and scanning
- Researching accounting problems
- Data entry
- Other duties as assigned
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, thoroughness, organization, and highly motivated
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability interact at all levels of the organization.
- Great communication skills (verbal and written)
- Excellent computer skills (accounting system, excel, report writers)
- Knowledge in Acumatica and Springer Miller System software a strong plus

RATE OF PAY: Between $21.63-$23.08, DOE
HOURS: Monday - Friday, 8 hours per day
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- 1-2 years of Accounting experience a plus
- Hotel finance experience a plus
