Accounting Assistant Job at Express Employment Professionals
We are actively recruiting for an Accounting Assistant for our client, a distribution company in Boxborough, MA.
Responsibilities:
- Verify, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable transactions in accordance with policies and procedures
- Monitor the dedicated accounting email, responding to and processing all external and internal inquiries
- Process and reconcile all transaction entries related to cash, credit card, ACH and wires
- File monthly sales tax reports
- Perform monthly bank statement reconciliations
- Process freight claim checks
Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare and deliver information to team members and management
- Highly organized with great attention to detail
- Experience with large ERP systems a plus
The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday from 7AM-3:30PM (or 8AM-4PM). With the option to work from home on Fridays. The pay for the position is $22/hr-$25/hr, based on experience.
