We are a seeking a full-time Accountant with strong fundamental accounting background to join our Finance team due to organizational growth. Join a leader in the senior living industry where you'll have many opportunities for professional growth!

Essential Functions:

· Prepare bank reconciliations

· Prepare and post journal entries

· General Ledger account analysis and reconciliations

· Maintain and reconcile prepaid schedules

· Maintain and reconcile accrued expense schedules

· Fixed Assets and Construction in Progress monthly close

· Assist DOF with GL monthly closings

· Assist DOF with preparation of various financial reports and schedules as assigned

· Special Projects as assigned by DOF and/or CFO

· Provide back up for Accounts Payable, posting of Cash deposits

· Process construction draw requisitions

· Prepare reports as required under bond agreements

· Assist in budget preparation and reporting

· Prepare monthly and quarterly analytic reports and periodic regulatory reports as required

· Assist in preparation of required tax filings

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years’ general accounting experience

Experience in healthcare setting, desirable

Proficient in MS Office, including Excel

BS/BA in Accounting or Finance

Strong interpersonal abilities, written and verbal communication skills, and problem-solving skills
