Shelf Engine is searching for a talented Account Manager to join our growing Account Management team. In this role, you will work with multiple teams across functions to manage the health of key accounts. This includes building persistent, deep relationships with decision makers, and ensuring these customers successfully adopt our products. You'll focus on understanding customers' goals and pain points and demonstrating how Shelf Engine addresses and solves for them. You'll become an expert in your customers' businesses and make the connection between their needs and our company's ability to help. This includes educating customers about insights relevant to their business. Account Managers collaborate with our customers on the execution of implementing Shelf Engine, and ensuring clarity on goals, value proposition, and success metrics.

This position is based in Seattle, WA or Remote.

As an Account Manager at Shelf Engine, you will:

  • Partner with our clients to deliver predictable outcomes and experiences for their clients and predictable growth for their business
  • Embrace our company principles through inclusive, authentically-kind, and empathetic interactions with our team and our customers
  • Deliver and communicate ROI for our clients, throughout the customer lifecycle
  • Optimize time to value for customers
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Quarterback experiences by various cross-functional teams at Shelf Engine, on behalf of the customer
  • Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders

What we are looking for in a candidate:

  • You embrace our company principles: make the first move, make better decisions, be furiously curious, commit and deliver, have empathy, invent solutions and be authentic
  • 2–4+ years of experience in Management Consulting, Customer Success, Account Management, Business Development, or similar client-facing role
  • Great communication skills, including the ability to listen effectively to customer needs and translate business needs to internal teams
  • Good analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into insights
  • Fast learner who adapts quickly to challenging business landscapes
  • Ability to create structure in ambiguous situations and design effective processes
  • Bias towards action
  • Passion for solving business challenges with technology and for being a part of a fast-growing startup
  • You have a bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. for any employer
