As a ABB Electrification Co-Op FL Summer & Fall 2023, you will be supporting the Florida District Electrification Sales organization and customers with the common goal to grow double digit volume and gain share annually.

Your responsibilities

  • Sales support for all FL Account Managers
  • Analyze Drawings and Specs to field quote Projects of all sizes through Empower
  • Create Opportunities through Sales Force.com (SFDC)
  • Submit RFQs through SFDC
  • SFDC Past Due Clean Out
  • Create detailed submittals and other customer facing documents
  • Enter and manage small projects
  • Track Orders
  • Expedite Orders
  • Review and Hand off large projects to the project team
  • Assist with change orders and revised submittals for large projects
  • Answer customer product questions
  • Submit and Monitor Warranty/Damaged Goods cases
  • Handle credit workflows for project issues
  • Offer ABB Sales Tool Empower assistance for co-workers and customers
  • Compile list of upcoming, high-profile project opportunities per sales area using CMD Insight
  • Compile list for monthly FL Large Projects call and assist in action items the sales team needs
  • Train new ABB and distributor employees on Empower
  • Handle PM work for projects not accepted by PS or PM team

Your background

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in the US
  • Sales Engineering Minor or career desire
  • Must be currently authorized to work for ABB in the US
  • Engineering degree preferred
  • Other degrees considered
  • A positive can-do attitude with a strong desire to support the growth of the FL sales team with our customers is a must
  • Must be able to work well with a team and develop strong relationships and rapport with customers
