This is 100% on-site position.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Associates degree, and 2 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Preferred 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech manufacturing equipment and systems.
  • Knowledge of CMMS
  • Prior warehouse or parts stockroom experience preferred

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as SOP’s, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions, inquiries or complaints from groups of employees, managers, vendors, suppliers.

REASONING ABILITY:

  • Ability to interpret and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, mathematical, diagram or schedule form.

COMPUTER ABILITY:

  • Ability to utilize various standard office programs for data entry and word processing.
  • Ability to utilize software and customized programs to meet business needs.
  • Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems, SAP preferred.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference and/or volume.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry and to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.

OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES OR QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to manage multiple, complex priorities and ability to work with other functions to complete work.
  • High level of familiarity with validation document review, change control, computer validation.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee:

  • Needs to be mobile and able to independently transport themselves between various sites/locations, as dictated by the essential functions and responsibilities of the position.
  • Needs to perform gowning procedures
  • Needs to be able to lift up to 25lbs
  • Is frequently required to talk or hear.

Responsible for coordinating the functions of the parts storeroom, including not limited to; receive, inspect, putaway, distribute, kit/assemble, cycle count, obtain quotes, order, process master data in SAP. Be the key interface for the warehouse to the site and operations for parts questions and operational improvements. Responsibilities include Subject Matter Expertise (SME) on storeroom operations, SAP CMMS, customer relationship management, supplier relationship management, contracts and EHS Compliance as it relates to storeroom operations.

*ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Ensures that storeroom operations are delivered to KPI/targets. Coordinates with suppliers and internal customers on both business standards and standardized expectations. The Coordinator is the operational interface between the customers and parts vendors.
  • Directs the organization of incoming and outgoing materials for verification against shipping documentation.
  • Ensures that reviews of orders and pull items are done and staged correctly so that they can be delivered to user department.
  • Verifies that all inventory and receiving transactions are registered in the system to ensure up-to-date availability of information to end-users as well as timely payment to suppliers
  • Oversees the generation of inventory reports and reviews the compiled list of shortages, expired products and other issues for management and reordering.
  • Ensures all shipping documents, inspection records are filed properly and correctly updated in the system
  • Registers all inventory and receiving transactions in the system to ensure up-to-date availability of information to end-users as well as timely payment to suppliers.
  • Represent the cell on site-wide project teams and business initiatives as assigned.
  • Maintains effective communication between the initiative or project team and Cell / COE
  • Ensures cGMP compliance of initiative activities including adherence to applicable SOP’s, Change Control Processes, Work Order Processes, and the Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPA’s)

  • Provide subject matter expertise (SME) support for all aspects of the project lifecycle including: Scoping, Budgeting, Approval, Planning, Execution, Commissioning, Turnover, and Operation.
  • Ensure that the users have adequate and effective SAP to perform required storeroom functions
  • Recognizes and acts on potential compliance issues and opportunities for process changes/improvement.
  • Knowledge of some of the following areas is required: cGMPs, FDA regulations, SAP, MES, USDA, TSA, OSHA.
  • Review and approve SOP revisions
  • Work with Equipment OEM’s and suppliers to identify and resolve equipment issues.
  • Participate on site-wide project teams and business initiatives as assigned.
  • Generates inventory reports and compiles a list of shortages, expired products and other issues for management.
  • Ensures all shipping documents, inspection records are filed properly and correctly updated in the system
  • Participates in inventory audits, compiles and submits audit data to supervisor/warehouse lead
  • Supports scheduling for manufacturing activities

  • Carries out all duties in compliance with all company, state and federal regulations and guidelines including FDA, EPA, OSHA, and DEA.
  • Ensures regulatory and job training remains current by promptly completing required training
  • Complies with all company and/or site policies and procedures
  • Complete all GMP documentation to support Maintenance activities and supply legible and complete documentation of work orders as required
  • Order basic supplies as needed
  • Is available for other duties as required
