What are we looking for?
SoftPro is seeking a Temporary Help Desk Analyst to join our Support Team during the 1099 season. This candidate for this position will work November 14, 2022 through April 14, 2023. Hours are 8:30 am – 5:30 pm Monday -Friday. This positon can be located in the Raleigh area or remote. This position is not eligible for benefits.

What will I do as 1099 Help Desk Analyst on the 1099 Team at SoftPro?
In this position you will be responsible for providing software support via phone and remote sessions to SoftPro’s 1099 customers in the process of updating their current 1099 Software applications to the current 2022 Tax Year. Additionally, you will:

  • Provide a high level of customer service to each customer he/she works with at all times.
  • Experience working in an inbound and outbound call center remotely assisting customers with our Pro1099 application
  • Possess and maintain an overall understanding of the tools used in performing job services including, but not limited to:
  • Desktop Operating Systems (Win10 or later)
  • Office 2007 or later
  • General application environment troubleshooting
  • Experience with remote desktop control solutions (ScreenConnect, Go To Assist, etc)
  • Accurately document all customer issues, resolution steps, and gather feedback in support tracking software.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What skills do I need to be successful as a 1099 Help Desk Analyst on the 1099 Team at SoftPro?

  • Be a self-starter with a great attitude and feel comfortable working independently and within a dynamic and fast-paced team environment
  • 2+ years of previous Customer Service experience with demonstrated ability to act emphatically with a high level of professionalism
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong Problem Solving, analysis and testing skills.
  • Deadline drive project management experience and abilities
  • SoftPro application, 1099 reporting, and/or Title/Closing real estate experience is a plus
  • Demonstrate attention to detail, exhibit concise written and verbal communication, strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Interact with sensitive customer data to reflect customer requirements and SoftPro policies
